Baxter was last seen June 22, 2009 at the
A&W and Petrocan Convenience Store adjacent to highway #5 about 12:00 noon.
One hour later we went to the Petro Can to get him and he was gone. We assumed he was on his way to visit a friend or heading home which was his routine. Within 12 hours we knew something was wrong!
He was wearing a handmade blue cord collar with a red heart tag that reads: 'Baxter' 250 566 9161.
We have reason to believe that Baxter may have mistakenly hopped into a car or truck thinking he was getting a ride home...
Although it is possible Baxter is gone...we believe he's alive and a huge part of our lives and joy and he will try to get back home.

If he took a ride it's possible he could be anywhere in North America but most likely in Canada and especially here in the west. We decided that the only thing we can do is create this website and trust that by asking you to pass the link www.snowfarmers.com/baxter.html to people or groups or anywhere you feel may get this information widespread - there is a possibility someone that sees these pages will find him.
